The SOuth Africans are just getting going, and there look to be lots of buds waiting for the right time shortly. Anyway,
Moraea tricolor
is open today - you have to be quick to catch these open!
They smell divine as well.

- first year flowering from sowing 2 years ago. The leaves aren't doing their spiral thing: probably not enough sunlight over winter, or maybe just a youth thing.

hybrid (I think this is probably 'Romaud') - has a lovely strong scent that fills the greenhouse.
