The plant shown above as Iris victoris from Uzbekistan does not conform to the description (or the image) of this fairly new species as described here: https://www.zobodat.at/pdf/STAPFIA_0099_0205-0207.pdf

My plant came from Jan Jilek four years ago -apparently raised from wild-collected seed in Uzbekistan. Any suggestions as to what this plant might be?

Hello Sergey, many thanks for your help.
I can only find two pictures of rodionenkoi on the internet. It seems to have narrow leaves.

I’ve enclosed another image of my plant showing the leaves from a different angle, they are wider:





I have another plant which was bought as rodionenkoi but it has not yet flowered. The leaves are less wide and it is not as robust:

Steve,the width of the sheet for me is not a very accurate sign.In nature and in culture this feature is very variable.This is also similar to Juno narbutii or its hybrid.

I bought these plants from Jan Jilek as small bulbs in late 2015.

I bought bulbs labelled as: “Juno victoris, Juno rodionenkoi, Juno rudolphii and Juno narbutii x orchioides -wild hybrid from Kazakhstan”.

To me Juno rudolphii Looks to be the same as Juno narbutii. I have not yet flowered the plant labelled as Juno rodionenkoi.

Below is the plant that I got as Juno narbutii x orchioides (Kazakhstan) -it looks similar to orchioides but so do the online images of Juno victoris.

It is possible that I have mixed up the labels and the plant below (which I have labelled as narbutii x orchioides) is in fact Juno victoris and the plant shown in my previous post as Juno victoris is in fact a narbutii x orchioides hybrid. What do you think?

Steve,to be honest I don't see much difference between Juno svetlanae  and Juno victoris. Of course yellow is more like Juno victoris. I'm not a nerd. I think it can only be determined by molecular analysis. I don't know if they did it or not . But how much Juno is variable even within a single population I know for sure.  And in the previous photo it looks like Juno  narbutii x orchioides.I have a Facebook page-Scorpiris,iris Juno.I made it to find like-minded people,this is not a commercial page.You can see all the photos of my JUNOS there.
