last year I "rescued" a very congested pot of habranthus which had no label. I had a suspicion it was one of the seedlings I'd raised from crossing Habranthus martinezii and H (robustus?) 'Russell Manning'. After recovering for about 12 months they burst into flower today presumably due to recent rains

A few more from the garden this week:
Townsendia parryi - a second flower on this Rocky Mountain Daisy
Acis autumnalis - autumn, really? Back to 35oC today!
Lycoris sprengeri - such a surprise - this clump hasn't flowered for a few years;
Crossyne flava - a seedling of the original which came up from a fallen seed
Cyclamen graecum - first cyclamen of the year!
cheers
