Epimedium grandiflorum 'Lilafee'

This is a delightful dwarf Epimedium and well suited to planting in a cool woodland environment amongst other forest dwellers. It is also adaptable to being planted in a large trough, in sunshine, as shown here. The flowers grow well above the foliage, and the whole plant never gets much more than 10 inches, (25 cm.) high.

Its here in Aus Lesley.  Good strong pink flowers to it with nice foliage.  Nice pic of it.

Yes Lesley, it is here in Australia. I fell in love with Lilafee -the Epimedium ,not the person, when I saw it in flower in Elisabeth Strangman's garden/nursery some12 years ago , and then imported it, and shared it with my friends.

I've had it in my garden for about 5 years now.  Very well behaved, doesn't spread here much but provides this display every year.  On a trip to Brantwood in Cumbria recently bought E. grandiflorum, flowers look almost identical to Lilafee.  Both are stunning plants, the purple foliage setting off the flowers in a very nice display.  Thoroughly recommended.
