I have couple of Primulas grown from seed ex seeds, and I have lost the labels. They both flowered last summer for the first time.
The first is either Primula chionantha or Primula macrophylla, I have sown both, but lost track of them later. Which one do you think it is?
It is evergreen and flowers early, and is mealy.
First picture is May 20, second May 29.
In the third picture it is in the background in June 5th, the one in the foreground is another without a label.
At first I thought it was P.japonica, but this one is very mealy and my other sure P.japonica flowers much later and is not mealy.
Then I started thinking if it might be P.pulverulenta, which I have also sown.
Is P.pulverulenta earlier flowering than other candelabra primulas?
In the fourth picture are the same primulas in June 5th.
The last picture was taken in the end of June and the possible P.pulverulenta is in the left already finished flowering, and the ones flowering were sown from seed ex seeds as P.x bullesiana.
All are really nice Primulas and I hope they come through this winter.
