This is really Brian's post.

Flowers gone ofcourse, but I think the foliage is worth looking at.

A few more pictures from the garden and greenhouse..

The Anemone Vestal Virgin was a surprise as we haven't bought it. It came up right next to a Campanula from John and Clare Dower so I thought it was a little extra.

The Cytissus often made the trip to the Glasgow Show. I wouldn't like to have find a pot for it now.

Shelagh, how wonderfully growing Hepaticas, and all rock garden plants!

This white Dapne mezereum started to flower in the end of February, and it is still flowering! Almost two months now.

A Chrysoplenium we got from plantswoman Margaret Charlton in N. Vancouver, BC. We passed along a piece to a friend and it has spead nicely, it's been out for a few weeks. No scent that I can detect. I can't recall the species name for the life of me.

Iris 'Happiness' to date the only McMurty that diesn't shrink away to nothingness.

Lastly the first elepidote rhodo to flower, R. tsariense with delicious indumentum.

Ranunculus 'Rococo Orange', one of John Fielding's new hybrids derived from Ranunculus asiaticus, I haven't grown it in the ground but it has been fantastically vigorous in a large pot
Geranium x lindavicum 'Gipsy': an old Eric Smith hybrid, very showy but sooo slow to propagate...
Paeonia 'Late Windflower': this seems rather early to me... but I guess these things are relative.
