Spring is late in Saskatoon,Canada. Plants are just poking out. Some early flowers
1. Adonis amurensis
2.Colchicum bulbocodium
3.Galanthus nivalis. (Got as bulbs from a gardening friend from Brtish Columbia 3 years ago. Only this year it is flowering well. Thank you)

I never plant foxglove, Digitalis purpurea, I just let them seed around in the garden and keep the ones that seem like they are in good locations.



One of my best seedlings of Eriogonum umbellatum var. polyanthum.



I let many common Sweet Peas, Lathyrus odoratus, seed around the garden. Now that the nights are warm, the fragrance in the evening is heavenly. I would not garden without them.
