Kirsten Andersen and Lars Hansen have a beautiful garden in Denmark. The two travel a great deal to see plants in the wild and grow a lot from seed. You can visit
www.alpines.dk
to see pictures from their garden and plants they grow but I'm sharing here some photos Kirsten has recently posted on Facebook. The first few pictures are from a walk round the garden at the end of May

Thanks to our Danish friends for showing us their outstanding garden. It is a already a longer
time ago, that we heard about about these friendly and very experienced gardeners and
it was always a big pleasure for us when we met them at various events.

What a terrific garden. I thoroughly enjoyed looking at the plants especially Ptilotrichium spinosum which we used to grow, and the Gesneraceae.

Its so inspiring to have such high standards set!. I thoroughly enjoyed viewing the garden and in my wintery plus isolated condition I certainly look forth for more postings! Thank Maggi for presenting these exceptional gardeners.
