Shelagh,
I have looked at my Lysimachia and the seeds are still very green and not ripe. I don’t think the seeds have time to ripen in our climate - I have certainly never found seedlings in the garden.
If you are ever up in Galloway, do get in touch and I’ll dig a bit up for you!

Thank you Carolyn. I must admit I thought it would be a more popular plant than it appears to be.

I have Lysimachia clethoides and Lysimachia fortunei, I will go tomorrow to see if there are seeds.
L. clethoides got thirsty this year, flowering was difficult, but its foliage took on its usual beautiful fall colors
however, a small rooted shoot is quickly picked up and can fit into a letter. it takes root very easily.

thank Ashley
there are many seeds on
Lysimachia fortunei
, but I did not find anything on
L. clethoides
, unfortunately; it suffered from drought at the time of flowering.
I really like Lysimachia fortunei, it is less tall, its regular and more rounded foliage is interesting: I have the impression that it supports the lack of water better.
once installed these Lysimachia are hardy plants.
