Brian kindly lifted all the Hepaticas still looking good out of the greenhouse this morning. Top row H.j. HpHo Beni, H.j. Ryougetsu, H.j. Gyousei. Bottom row H.j. Toki, H. nobilis pygmy strain, H. n. Here it is still winter, temperatures at night are several degrees below zero and days barely above it, but next week the forecast promises a bit warmer nights so snow should start to melt faster.In the earliest spot in the garden snow has melted but ground is still frozen. Some snowdrops are already up and ready to flower,like 'Atkinsii' in the first picture and 'Viridapice' also up in the second picture.
