Kendal show 2021
«
on:

.......would have taken place tomorrow. In 2020 it was the only show SRGC members could take part in and a very good show it was- see the photos on this forum and Sandy Leven's report which ran to 4 parts!
(

)
This springs has been colder and later so my plants, which mostly live outside, are both late and a bit battered by the weather. Some of these would probably never have reached the show bench - and those that did would have to have the pots cleaned!
Class 21 three bulbs - the related iris Frank Elder, Katharine Hodgkin and Sheila Ann Germaney
32 one eric- Rhododendron lapponicum Siberian form
33 three conifers - Cryptomeria japonica Tenzan, C japonica spiralis & Picea abies Lucky Strike
34 one conifer Pinus mugo Mops
26 one iris - another pot of Katharine Hodgkin

Lovely display, Stan. Interesting to see Irises 'Katharine Hodgkin', 'Sheila Ann Germaney' and 'Frank Elder' all flowering together. I have all three and they flower in succession so I don't see them all in flower at the same time. Katherine is first followed by Sheila and Frank is just starting now.

A few plants from me - the reticulate irises are all finished with me though had a good display in the garden earlier.
Ozothamnus coralloides
Scilla siberica 'Spring Beauty'
Primula 'Lindum Candyfloss'
Crocus huffelianus - does well in the garden also
