This Arisaema has flowered for the first time. I think it was from Chris Chadwell seed (so Nepal). Anybody know what it might be?

Lovely plant. This is an attractively patterned form of Arisaema intermedium.

Many thanks both. Not really a group I am very familiar with, though I am trying a few more now I am discovering how easy they are from seed.

Arisaema-L, the Arisaema Enthusiasts Group, has had a yearly seed exchange for many years, though you might have problems accessing it now as it is based in the Netherlands.

Top 3 easy-to-grow flowers for beginners

Are you envious looking at your neighbors’ garden? Well, we bet your neighbors are aware of the fact that some flowers grow faster and easier than others. So read on! We’ll share with you a list of top easy-to-grow flowers in TheKingLive, so you’ll have a flower-filled garden in the next few months.

1.  Marigolds

Marigolds are one of the fastest flowers to grow. You don’t have to wait too long to see its range of color, from yellow to orange, scattering in your garden. Excellent product reviews for gardening always include Marigold seeds from different sellers. However, if you’re buying seeds from Amazon, always read Amazon reviews before clicking the purchase button.

Marigolds grow quickly and vary in shapes and sizes. If you’re looking for tall flowers for the borders, Mexican or African marigolds can be a good fit. If you prefer shorter plants for containers or beds, French marigolds can also suit your need as they’re compact, with around 6 to 24 inches in height.

Most marigolds grow strongly outdoors with a temperature above 40°F.  What we like the most about this vibrant, showy flowers is that they’re frost tolerant. So if you’re living in areas where it does not stop frosting till March, then nurture marigold seeds indoors for around five to six weeks before the last days of frost. We prefer growing flowers by sowing seeds than plants since it gives us a gratifying experience of watching our marigolds grow from little seeds.

2.  Sunflowers

Best product reviews for new gardeners often recommend affordable, easy-to-use tools, and decoration items. Besides, these reviews also provide readers with a list of easy-to-grow flowers. Sunflowers are always on this list as it takes low maintenance to have sun-like flowers welcome you to the garden every day. These daisy-like flowers grow best under the sun and in moist, well-drained soil. As long as you make you sure the soil is not water-clogged, then your sunflowers will grow vigorously and quickly.

Are you wondering if sunflowers are a good fit for your garden? You probably see tall sunflowers that grow to over 16 feet. So if you have a small area in front of your house for plants and flowers, then this variety might not suit you. However, there’re smaller varieties of sunflowers that do not grow taller than afoot. Given this, if you want to have these cheery and inviting flowers in your small garden, pick the right variety then.

3.  Californian Poppy (Eschscholzia)

If you’re struggling to find the best products for your new garden, then do not think too hard, pick some Californian poppy seeds. Other more time-consuming tasks such as choosing the right tools, improving the soil, or dividing your space for different plants can be done later.

Californian poppy multiplies even if you let them in a hidden corner of your garden. Given this, many gardeners often choose these flowers for forgotten spots of their garden. However, we love their colors and grow a lot of them in a large area of our garden.
