They are very lovely - the first one is very special with the lobed and frilled corona. What does N. ‘初雪’ look like?

A translation site showed me that the name refers to "first snow" so I was guessing a good white- so I did a Forum search, and yes, it is! See YT's other photos from previous years ....

What a long lasting flower, Gerd.
I'm challenging to grow this tiny species but looks I have to wait its flower until next season.

Don't be downcast, David, lots of first flowers of bulbs tend to be a bit squiffy - other new plants too, for that matter. In future years it'll probably be gorgeous.

A very good plant for the rockery is this hybrid Narcissus bulbocodium genuinus x Narcissus albidus ssp. albidus.
A good dark colour and flowering over a long period.

Sumptuous isn't it? But its hybrid is even lovelier.
