The forecast for Saturday is much better than today so I may miss the very good talks to take an opportunity to look  for mosses with some  expert friends. Unlke most flowering plants mosses and liverworts look good in winter.  Here  are some snaps  of my bulbs currently in flower.  No rarities.  All apart from the three  dwarf daffodils are grown outside thus the trademark dirty pots.   I think  they all have legible labels.
first  batch  wth histrioides/winogradowii parentage

More crocus. Last pic is of some of the bulbs en route to Auchtermuchty garden club  yesterday. Nice to get to an actual not virtual event   but it does mean I have to clean the pots!

Thanks, Stan for posting  these cheery pictures of spring bulbs. Snowing here since 9am.  It turned to sleet for a while but is back to snow. I am trying to get most bof my bulbs out into the garden and am neglecting those still in pots. I don't know how you manage to produce so many pots for shows and still have time for so many other activities. I did manage to photograph a few pots a couple of days ago.

Crocus sieberi sublimis

Eranthis 'Guinea Gold'  I hadn't noticed before what a strong scent it has

Good you have added some nice plants esp  cyclamen  as I've none in flower just now. Snow here has turned to rain.

I don't have any nice bulbs in pots, but I do have a nice wee 36 cm pot of Primula arduaine coming into flower.  Looking forward to the zoom day.

This iris is blooming now, as it did in February five years ago, when it had caught the remains of a leaf (Magnolia 'Elisabeth') as protection against cold winter winds. It reminds me of a haiku attributed to Ome Shushiki; 'Dead my old fine hopes And dry my dreaming but still… Iris, blue each spring'.

I look forward to interesting talks in a wee while.
