A great read.  My thanks too to the editor and contributors.

Maggi where's the link in the members zone?
I was looking for the volume 150....
Here it is Yann (Members' Area, under 'About Plants'/'Journal The Rock Garden').

Edit by maggi - Actual link to latest journal removed as access to this is limited to paid up members -  it is available to members when they log in to their personal page online at srgc.net

Sorry Maggi.  I assumed that the link would only work once members had logged in, but should have checked :-[

What an awful last sentence at the bottom of page 33 of latest Rock Garden issue.
New Joe Elliott well & find this remark totally unnecessary.

I hadn't read the journal yet and so was shocked when I followed Mike Ireland's link and I have to agree - an unnecessary comment.

I wondered why that particular sentence had not been edited out myself.
I really enjoyed the article by Anton Edwards. We have a similar situation to the one he describes. I wish there was some way of asking follow up questions of him.

Thanks, but it seems a bit cheeky to ask like that.
