We are in the mid-winter week so ‘Good Yule’ to all. Many in Northern Europe seem to enjoy appropriate weather, too.
For Christmas I was given a delightful little book, The Amateur Rock Gardener, written by H.B. Kay and published in 1934. While some of its advice may now be dated, much of it is still relevant and definitely ‘Useful’, and the historical perspective is interesting. Also interesting is that being a member of the Scottish Rock Garden Club was considered an ‘asset’ already a year after the club was started.
So, Congratulations members, and best wishes to all for a good new year in the rockery.
