Hi all!
Newly joined... I'd started a new youtube channel, and my second video was on George Forrest and his Naxi botanist/plant collectors. I encountered the SRGC often in my research, and thought it'd be nice to share what I created. I hope it doesn't get perceived as too critical of Forrest. It's just the direction the story took me and the video was already too long to do more in-depth exploration.
I'd share a direct link, but I know forums usually prevent external links by new members. It's easy to find with those search terms though! Feel free to post polite comments. I welcome thoughts, as I couldn't give the full breadth of his story in a 45-minute video.
I'm curious what other sorts of interesting botanical / ethnographic / science stories would appeal to you in a Youtube channel?
