Winter has returned here with a vengeance, so I started to tidy up a bit... and took a look at my watering cans.
It started with this inconspicuous (copper) can from the 1960s.
Perfect for the windowsill, very precise watering was possible, but the water capacity was very small.
then I discovered what was probably a replica of a Haws jug made of metal. More water, but bad for pouring (the stream is difficult to control)
... and also a replica of a Schneider can made of plastic. Actually very good, but the plastic is of poor quality :-(
... Time to turn to the originals:
first two metal Schneider can for outside.
10 liters (1961?) and 4.5 liters. The 4.5 liters in particular is absolutely top class :-)
