Perth Show 2025
« on: April 14, 2025, 10:23:39 AM »
Congratulations to the Perth and Angus Group (now amalgamated, as of this year) for a splendid 75th celebratory show. Everything was grand - show plants, nurseries (more than ever before), workshops (seed showing, Carole and Ian's fish box transformation), catering, anniversary cake, Branklyn's display, raffle (surely the longest in history!), illustrated history of both groups etc..

I wish I'd taken a camera to record the event, perhaps others will post their photographic records of the day.

Anyway, well done again to Alison (Show Secretary) and Nicola (Club Convenor) - now looking forward to the 76th.
Yemen, what a country ... Haraz mountains, Socotra, Sana'a, Hadramaut, the empty quarter.... a country of stunning, mind altering beauty...and the friendliest of people.
