Which Adenophora?
« on: July 09, 2008, 09:21:43 AM »
Can anyone identify this Adenophora? I got it ages ago from the AGS japan expedition. All my visitors are asking what it is.

I think it's Adenophora triphylla var japonica.

I grew Adenophora triphylla var japonica for some years and it looked very much like your plant.

Grows up to about 1m, and is a lovely deep blue, but needs support, at least where I've got it in part shade.
