Slovenia 2008 ( Julian Alps )
« on: August 05, 2008, 09:55:17 AM »
Dober Dan ,

with some deley is here a little report from our last trip from the mountains of Slovenia ( Julian Alps ) – our target was the Triglav National Parc.
We drive via Munich-Salzburg-Villach-Wurzenpass and reach Kranska Gora – from there we drive via the Vrisic pass to the Soca Valley – we stay there tree days in Trenta .
Our first walk on next day was from Vrisic pass ( 1611 m –it is the highest pass from Slovenia ) to the Slemenova Spice – sorry no pics .
On next day we walk from the Soca source high to the Vrisic pass and back – here some pics :

from Trenta we move via the Soca valley to Lake Bohinji and we found there in Ukanc a nice room .
It was from wether not always possibly to go high on the mountains -but we could make walks on lower altitude -p.e. we go aound the Lake Bohinji :

on next day we had phantasic wether and so we could make a long and partly difficould walk - we start from Slap Savica ( Savic waterfall ) to the Crno Jezero ( Black Lake ) - with a lot of climbing ....later the way was easier and we reach after some hours Triglav Jezero .
