Lovely, Franz.
Cheers.

Min winter temp -8 or -9°C. Max summer temp 40°C. Thankfully, maybe once or twice a year only.

Great pictures, Franz.
What is the ground cover: is it an Achillea or Anthemis?
I grow most of those bulbs, but they will not be in bloom here for probably another month, if that. I'm convinced that it is cool temperature which triggers the blooming of these plants. What do others think?

Jim, I'm with you - autumn bulbs don't start growing after the calendar.
It's just the falling temperatures and the autumn rain that switches their growing button.

Lovely display, Franz!!!

Thank you all together for the kind comments.
Jim, My meadow is 40 years old and I never did it fertilize. My meadow consists of 20% grass, 30% different weeds and 50% Yarrow (Achillea millefollium).
It is as Thomas writes. The flower depends on weather.

Franz, this reply got lost during the ' breakdown':

Unbelievable - Leucojum valentinum in a meadow! A beautiful sight!
