Lilium hansonii

Lilium hansonii as grown in the west used to be a clone. Hansonii is self sterile so it set no seed. This clone had orange colured flowers that were fairly flattish. See pics.
Today all L. hansonii I have and can get are new introductions with more reflexed tepals and lighter colour.
Has anyone a bulblet or some scales of the old type to spare??

This year I have planted some bulbs L. hansonii which has received from different people. Next year I will send you photos. Probably, among these bulbs there will be that is necessary for you.

Probably not what you are looking for, but I was given this as hansonii. I'm not sure it is though.

The first shot shows this Lily intertwined with the perennial Angelica grayi (however, this one could also be wrong)!

No I am afraid that this is the strain that I have now. Possibly with some martagon blood in it.

I have had a clump of this lily in my garden for 30years. The original plant came from a very old garden.
If it is what you are looking for then I will be happy to send you scales or bulblets once the foliage has died down.

I have a single flower out on Lilium japonicum today, a short and stunted plant still in a small pot and in need of attention and TLC. I'd forgotten all about it, from JCA seed I think, in 2003. Weather not suitable for pics today but it is a lovely soft pink.

I assume that something has happened to the plant in the photo.
The bud looks more like L. medeloides and the poise of the flower is more upwards but this could be the result of bad weather or something.
Nevertheless, I would be very grateful for some material (I do not have medeloides presently either so this could be exciting)

The easy way is to pack very flat so it can go as an ordinary first class letter. That disposes with all red tape - at least on my side.

The clump in the garden is still actually in bud so it will be maybe Feb/March when I do send your lily. And yes Gote, I will do my best to follow your postage preference.The pic I posted was taken a couple of years ago when the flower head was knocked off during a storm.
