Romulea
« on: October 12, 2008, 09:22:56 AM »
This little Romulea was given to me recently but I can't find any information under this name. The nearest name that I can find is R. macowanii alticola and the description matches my plant. Would anyone know if these names refer to two different varieties of Romulea or if one of the names is incorrect.

David, I'd suggest your donor had muddied the nomenclatural waters a little. Go with the second name and you won't be far out. ;)

Thanks Leslie. I thought that it might be you who gave me a response. I suspect that my donor probably knew the name verbally and tried to write it at a later time.
