Tony Goode Superb .... and some nice companion planting for the crocus in your garden too.Tim Ingram Wonderful... need to have another talk sometime on Crocus Tony Goode or Wim Boens, especially how they associate with other plants. These really light up the autumn garden. Must grow more of them. There are Snowdrop meetings everywhere for plantspeople through the winter, but it would be great to celebrate a wider compass of flowers and in autumn too... and just seen Paddy Parmee's comment! Scope for something interesting as the autumn colours reach their peak.Wim Boens Paddy, Tim, autumn of 2018 would be better for me, a talk about autumn flowering Crocuses and how they combine with other plants. But maybe Tony Goode has a good talk about this, so you could have one in 2017?Paddy Parmee 2018 good, Ive September 2018 booked but free Oct NovemberWim Boens October 2018 sounds fine to me, but like I said maybe Tony has one ready for next autumn? Seed received a few weeks back are on the move. 13 pots so far out of 18 sown show activity at various stages ..

6 weeks , something's changed, although I'm not sure what... It took them +8 weeks to arrive in South-Africa....
I'll have to look into this for next year's exchange.

Interesting to see this conversation of a joint Crocus/Galanthus event..... puts me in mind of the SRGC/Cyclamen Society weekend in Penrith! Such an event would, of course, be possible to be advertised in the extensive Crocus Section of the SRGC forum - where many of those there[/size]on Facebook originally met, I think!

Would love for this to go through, but I'm not sure if someone in the UK is willing to organise this...I've started to gather pics for my talk just in case

Ladies and gentlemen, please, when harvesting seeds/cormlets and corms of Crocus, don't forget this poor seed-exchange manager of the Crocus Group who would love to be overwhelmed by the amount and number of Crocus sent in for this year's exchange. Every amount (1 seed up to 1 million of seeds) of every Crocus (the most common and the most rare and recently described) is very welcome. Just harvested some pods of C. michelsonii here today, see below...
