I see what you were asking, Rob. Yes, Ron Mackenzie generally does send out bulbs which have flowered or are flowering, so are definitely flowering size; though I expect there will be some exceptions, say if a bulb has reached a good enough size to send as flowering size but hasn't produced a scape that year. Generally, I've always found his bulbs to be a good size.

As I said in an earlier post, 'Ronald Mackenzie' has yellow markings at top and base of the inner segments. It has no markings at all on the outer segments. The description in the catalogue of yellow markings on the outers is a mistake.
