Can there be a logical explanation for the lateness of information packs?

Quite possibly too few people trying to do too much too late.

Or a profound state of disorganization.... ::)

I was trying to be nice and polite John ;D

David - So was I by using "Or".  ;)  I think we all know the scoop now.

Or the assumption that everyone attending will leave home Friday morning, for registration Friday afternoon or night. Some of the southerners are visiting other countries, let alone towns or gardens, before the Conference.

It's getting close now so I wish EVERYONE attending, a wonderful Conference with many friendships made or renewed and of cource fabulous plants and lectures, food and drink (if they can afford it!!!)

Is there a show? Hope everyone takes his/her camera. ;D

There is indeed a show Lesley. I'm sure cameras will be in attendance. Judging by the plants already lurking in the hall this afternoon it will be a good one

Many, many congratulations to Farrer Medal and Forrest Medal Winner Chris Lilley from North Anston with his amazing and aged plant of Trillium grandiflorum which scooped the award for 'Best plant in the Show' against some tremendous opposition.

Chris Lilley and his splendid Trillium grandiflorum.

I FEEL THAT I MUST ADD THAT WHILST CHRIS HAS A VERY IMPRESSIVE PEDIGREE AS AN EXHIBITOR, THESE WERE HIS FIRST FARRER AND FORREST MEDALS ... DOUBLE CONGRATULATIONS, DOUBLE KUDOS, DOUBLE THE PRIDE, DOUBLE THE ACHIEVEMENT!!!

In front of Martin & Cliff is Ragged Robin in pink and maroon, fairly sure that is Otto to Robin's left with perhaps Peter Maguire with white hair at the back to Ottos left.  Then right in the middle. at the back and with a fine head of grey-free hair is Angie! ... And is that Julia Corden between/behind Maggi and Anne G?

VERY sad I am not there ... not just the cost, it's slap in the middle of the school Easter hols and we are in Wales right now for some much needed family time.
