Just got back home sorry wasn't able to say GOODBYE to everyone but just decided to leave earlier that I first thought so I would just like to say nice meeting you all and goodbye for now. it was great Conference and greater still meeting everyone and what a great bunch you are.

Got home much quicker than we thought so now wishing I had stayed to the end, only took 7hrs to get home. Bought plenty of new plants to replace those I lost through the winter  ;D so will have a busy day planting out my little treasures out tomorrow. I can't wait till the next time we al get together again.

Just would like to say thanks to all those that organised this event. It was a fantastic Conference. I am tired out, can't imagine how you are all feeling. So thank you very much.

Angie :)

That was quick Angie, I didn't get back to Newcastle until 10.30. If you had stayed until the end, you would have found that the final lecture over-ran it's time slot and a lot of people had to take leave of it before the end to catch trains, etc.
It was another great conference, and the social side was just important as the plants. I see that many of the show plant pictures have already been posted  by George, and as everyone returns home and catches up on lost sleep (too many late nights), I'm sure that many more of these pictures will appear.
Back to reality.....I'm off to work.  :-\

I was only away for a short time.  Never thought to look backwards.

Thanks for an excellent record of some outstanding plants.  I too would not like to have been a judge.

Mark, for your naming, immediately to the right of and slightly below Angie, is Cynthia Sladen from Melbourne, and immediately to Angie's left and slightly below, is Viv Condon who lives very near to Otto, in Vic, Australia. That is to ANGIE'S right and left, not to yours.

As I know them, Iris schachtii is larger in all its parts than attica, and taller, but I doubt if that's a definitive ruling. Mine may be wrong anyway.

Mark - just to complete your line-up; Anne Spiegel (Astragalus) is in the pink and blue in the centre of the image; John Richards is on the back row directly above Fermi; Ian (the Christie kind) is partially hidden next to John and Anne Gibson (with stunning new hair colour) is between Julia and Fermi. Could someone please assist with the one remaining member?

Trying to get caught up here....  Cliff, I saw Sue on Sunday but was deep in conversation and when I went to look for her she'd gone! Please apologise to her for me for not saying hello.  :'(

Susan, was Marcelle not at the Conference? ???

We had a good workshop at OAGG on Saturday. My word, the standard of afternoon teas/suppers has risen markedly since Susan MacKenzie joined. :P

There is a saying that; 'Whatever happens at Conference, stays at Conference' - but I think it is only fair that our beloved bulb despot should be made aware of certain irregularities???

Similarly, large amounts of liquid refreshment can be consumed by delegates, but I feel that I must warn dear Peter Maguire of the dangers of over consumption!!!
Jon Evans has also spotted the danger!

Harry Jans seems to be asking Doug Joyce ...

"Are you sure we look through this side, Doug?"
