Where else could you buy a fully-working Magic Roundabout in its original box?

Damn! I missed that! :'(

Hard to resist that sort of temptation . I love Ermintrude  :-X

Was there an English atlas as well Maggi? :P

Cheeky, David, if well deserved! Yes, I know I should be looking for a good atlas... but, in truth, I have access to a pretty good atlas, it is just that it is a National Geographic one.... it's nearly as big as I am..... handy for quick reference it is not!

We refer to it  jokingly as the "Pocket Atlas".... it is so large that if I dropped it on Lily dog I could squash her flat as a pancake  :-X

Here's a word of warning about another online bidding web site. I just saw an ad on Amazon for a very cheap Canon 450D that went for under £50.

Can I be the only one on the forum who doesn't know how to bid on ebay?

Nope, the only time I tried to register it kept sending me around in circles, just as well from what I am reading ;)

Helen you have to think of a name, to register, that no-one else has thought of. There is someone registered called handsoffitsmine

So I see!  £70 + already with 4 days to go.  Will be interesting to see if they beat last years record.  I wonder if 'E A Bowles' will make it onto ebay this season?

Hi Michael

I went to www.ebay.co.uk (not the .com version)  and then simply searhed for one word 'galanthus'  - it returned about 100 different items.

Hope this helps.

Looking at the pic of 'Ecusson d'Or' on ebay, the markings look more pale green than yellow to me. And in the description it says that the yellow colour varies according to soil type and that the marks on the outers may not appear every year. Can't help wondering if this snowdrop has been a tad over-hyped. Will be interesting to see what Mark's looks like when fully open.

I just used the forum search facility to look for Mark's pic of 'Ecusson d'Or' not yet open and I mis-spelled it as Galanthus 'Eccuson d'Or'.

The search engine came back with "Did you mean Galanthus accusing 'd'Or' ?"  Which I thought was quite appropriate given my last post.   ;D

I too was thinking the 'yellow' in the picture was not what I would describe as yellow.  It is a very nice colour though - but lime green, not yellow.  I found the same with 'Elwesii Carolyn Elwes' when I saw it in the flesh - not as yellow as I was expecting.
