I`m looking for all G nivalis named by NGS (page34)

For those who do not have the catalogue, these are:
'Bohemia Gold', 'Chatterbox', Dumpy Green', 'Fanfare', 'Golden Glow', 'Goldheart', 'Prague Spring', 'Stork', 'Tall Prague Spring' and 'White Stag'.

This is North Green's twenty fifth year of trading so some of these may well be from the early years.

Can it be, EARLY TO RIZE is an early flowering G rizehensis?

It is listed under Hybrids and the book says that it is probably from G.elwesii Hiemalis group, "but the leaves show subrevolute margins and an indelible central stripe, both classic traits of G.rizehensis...the inner segment marking is not dissimilar to that of G.rizehensis"

It would seem that Matt is implying a cross between the two.

Avon Bulbs' catalogue arrived here today with a much, much wider range of snowdrops than in recent years, including quite a few specials. Unfortunately, the snowdrops are not yet on their website, and the website says not till January, so receivers of the paper catalogue will get a head start.

Mine arrived this morning Martin and I believe there may even be more special ones on the website in due course.  Many of the Autumn specials list do not appear in the catalogue so I have fingers crossed!

Foxgrove's list posted on the website at 2pm today. Quite a conservative listing this time; eg no Rushmere Green this year. But the prices are a bit more affordable than some.

I can read the green print quite easily ....wonder if it is tricky to those ( mostly men?) with a red/green colour blindness problem?

AH! NOW I get you...... I only looked at the front page, which uses a different font... when I progress to the plant lists, I can see exactly what you mean, Ashley... yes, that is not so clear at all.

Avon Catalogue has a really good selection of snowdrops that should be in every collection
