.....a modest list though.

johnw

Certainly some of the snowdrops on the list are very readily available in the UK.  Is there a legal means of getting them to Canada?

Alan - There are a couple of nurseries that are cleared to issue a phyto. It's a costly venture and we usually pool over here.

I know you do have not heard from me for a while, but if anyone has an 'Ailwyn' for sale I'd pleased to hear from them.

Mark, Hagen and others - many thanks for your kind and generous offers.  I am a bit overwhelmed. I will send you pm's.

I wish a few other would send it their lists as I am feeling a bit too privileged at the moment.

Good grief, I only have two on John's list, and I am in the UK  :o
I haven't got a deep desire for any of them..... except the fat and lovely Dickerchen, which I have only seen photos of but which I do like.
There are a couple of others I like, too, but I'm hopeful of successful orders this spring.... Diggory and Tubby Merlin..... do you notice a theme developing in my tastes?  ;)

Maggi - I can help you out with Diggory and maybe the Tubby Merlin too if your order doesn't materialize.

We do after all have to keep these fine snowdrop nurseries in business too.

Now about that custard pie of Lesley's and her apricots in jar... ..... another swap thread?

John, you are too kind ....but I hope my fat chaps will come through, a friend is helping!

I hear what you say about another Swap thread... for the culinary treats...... this is a delicate matter..... so many foodstuffs are on banned lists nowadays, as with the plantworld and all the national regulations must be observed..... so, I propose  that all samples come here to me, for extensive testing, and I will forward anything suitable through the proper channels.... how does that sound? ::) ;D
