S. Patagonia (Argentina)
« on: February 01, 2009, 07:24:00 PM »
Some photos of our last expedition we made to S. Patagonia in November 2008.
I'm planning a new expedition now more to the north of Patagonia (Neuquen)
We want to go with a group of 16 persons. There is still a chance to join the group because there are still a few spare places.
Interest? Let me know and I will send you the itinerary, including time, price and other interesting documentation.
Attached photos are:

Anarthrophyllum desideratum yellow

Ger,
I have got to write the post with the favour to you down, in order you upload the photos from your trip, but I didn't manage.
You have passed me.

In that case, I watch your thread.

These are plants to die for. Thank you Ger for taking us to this incredible place. And please, post as many pictures as you have and give us as much information as you can. Most of us will never get there in any other way. The red and yellow Anarthrophyllums in the same photo are amazing.

I had some germinate once, from a Flores and Watson collection, maybe 15 years ago. Germinated well, damped off right away. :'(

Hello Ger !
I witnessed your talk in Utrecht about Patagonia a couple of months ago and was blown away by the beauty of the pictures.  It's very nice to see them here again.  :o

And... Lesley, therefore I know he has lots more pix...  ;)
