Ger, what a stunning series of images.
Incredible plants and scenery captured artistically and shared with us all on the forum.
THANK YOU.
I love them all but especially the Oxalis because we can grow them in Scotland.

Fantastic pictures, thanks for showing them, Ger. Some familiar faces in the 2007 group picture
I especially like the Anarthrophyllum and Nassauvia lagascae both of which I have managed to germinate in the past, although not got them much further
The Oxalis squamosa-radicata ssp. pubescens is a stunner, is anyone growing this in cultivation?

Hi Ian,
thanks for your reply.
It was a real surprise for me to see Oxalis enneaphylla just in the south of Patagonia.
The limit where Oxalis enneaphylla is growing is about where the Mte Zeballos starts more to the north.
Mte Zeballos and again more to the north is the area where Oxalis adenophylla was growing.
The most spectacular plants however we found on the Passo Roballos. About 1500 meter altitude.
This is also the place where we found the very rare Oxalis squamosa-radicata ssp. pubscens.
The best forms of Oxalis laciniata were growing in the extremely south of Patagonia, surroundings Stag River.

Diane, as far as I know it is not in culture. It is a real rare plant.

What else do you like to see Luit?
It's still frozen everything and the seeds are sown. It means I have some spare time to get on the forum!!

Don't know what to admire most - what a landscape and what a flora!
Besides
Viola auricolor
,
Alstroemeria patagonica
and the
Olsyniums
make me very nervous.

So many wonderful plants...I must pick out
Neobacklea crispifolia
and
Olsynium biflorum ssp.lyckholmii
Superb!
Your brain is working very well, Ger! You have found that the 700 x 465 is a good size. Having the names in the post is needed to allow the search engine to find them!
For anyone who thinks the photos seem small, I remind you to click on the pictures to enlarge them!

Absolutely stunning, Ger ... ANY other images will be much appreciated ... and, if possible, some logistics of your trip. Number of days, miles travelled, accommodation, etc. please?
Would LOVE to make that tour ....
