The last two pictures show, how it looks when I leave the Garden,
about two hours after I came in.
I heard today that yesterday 29000 visitors were counted!

As it is not a small Narcissus, I thought the name not being important to most Forumists.
But the name is Narcissus Chantarelle

I discoverd this thread late so I had a lot to enjoy.

By the way many of us has mother-in-laws and wifes that like also the little bigger and more "vulgar double types" so if these also exists I would be happy to show them to my wife.
It is such a pleasure to make these trips at the computer when I can not go in person.

I had not found this thread until after my visit on Wednesday 22nd April.  This was a glorious day, sunny and warm but never too hot, so here are some photographs.

• I was particularly taken with a tulip called 'Lady Jane' because it seems to combine the stature of a cultivated tulip with the delicacy of some of the species tulips.
• Early in my tour I was asked to stand to one side to allow the Queen of Sweden to pass.  I think she is the lady on the right in the picture.
• The view of bulb fields is taken looking out from the garden.

• Fortunately, you cannot make out the incredibly cheesy poster at the end of the Muscari river
• Can someone help me remember the name of the plant with the white forget-me-not-like flower in the 'Mixed' picture?
• During my time in the garden I kept encountering a male singer with a group of accompanying ladies shooting a video.  This involved singing along to a recording of his song over and over again - quite hard work as it really wasn't that great a song.  The chorus sounded something like "Hey, paper blue men, paper rosen" if you say it in English {blue men = blumen = flowers ; rosen = roses; paper = }  Who is this guy!?!

It is good to see pictures of someone else with a different view.
You were very lucky with the weather and the garden is at the moment really beautiful.

I'll have a look for your forget me not like flowers, but am not sure where you saw them.
There are several places with mixed plantings, but I presume it was not far from the place where
you made the picture of the bulbfields??

The young lady group was still at work till 5 pm. I did not see the male singer anymore, so cannot help.
The music I heard, while they were filmed was not really what I liked
