It's strange, but all show prize-givings look like religious festivals ...

Jim Almond, Brian Russ and John Harrison.  What hymns are being sung?   ;D

How about ... 'A BIDENS WITH ME"?

Thanks for your kind words Rudi ... more images to follow.

Many thanks to Shelagh and John for a super lecture entitled; 'Exploring Scandinavian gardens'.

St Patrick's Breastplate....."The three in one and one in three."

Incredible collection of stunning plants ther, thanks so much everyone for showing them to the terminally deprived of the dsouthern climes. I'm very taken with that little Aquilegia grahamii, so short and compact compared with most of the red/yellow species.

Cliff,
Did you take any pictures of all of those D.petraea cultivars?
My pictures were appalling, and I'm in need of some photo-therapy!

I guess it was all those Ranunculaceae that proved too much of a distraction   8)

Ooh er...is it me Di? :o  If so, Hi everyone!
If not...I've outed myself anyway, lol!  I've only been lurking here.....until now!

Have to congratulate you Cliff on the wonderful photos, and so many too....it's like being at the show again.

It was a great show, and thanks to all behind the scenes for their hard work in putting it together.

Di pointed out and introduced me to a few other forumists, and it was nice to put faces to names.

I don't think I'll be posting photos on here anytime soon, I'm new to Alpines (though I do grow a few Cyclamen) and my photography is very iffy.....but I'm sure enjoying everyone else's contributions.

And another welcome from me, Denise, good to see you on Saturday.  Well done for "coming out" and don't worry about iffy photos, most of us can't compete with Cliff!
And anyway, the forum is not just for pictures  ;)
