Hi all ,

like in near every year we visit again one of our favorite target : Vaucluse/France
We decid in this year to go a bit later ( beginning of May ) to see mo flowers ,days are longer ....and by night is it not so cold ....( we make always camping )

Here is our 'hotel' and our favorite 'restaurant'

direct near our place grows this orchids -no idea about the ID....now we have thanks Anthony a name :
it is Limodorum abortivum

not far from our city is the big Mt. Ventoux - all cycling fans will know it .....

here some impression from underway -many many plants ( but all without any labels ) ....

DSC-0224 and 0225 is Iberis pruitii  var. candolleana
DSC-0232 and 0233 is an Amelanchier species

the area on feet of Mt. Ventoux is around 350 m .....but on the top is 1910 m !!!

in this part of wood have before many years  forestry people Cedrus trees -they grows really well in this area

on a other day we made a nice walking near the 'Gorge de Nesque'

at the bottom of this Gorge is a very old chappel ( St.Michel) -I believe from the 16. century
there in this time very cool and wet -so we found still flowering Hepatica

on the way back to the car we found a big field of flowering Narcissus poeticus ,Cistus and typical vegetation near the path

and as usual we visit on the before we leave some good sources for wine ....to fill our cellar  8) ....until we go our next trip in Vaucluse ....

and in backroud : Les Dentelles ( here we made some years before some nice walkings )

I think that in Belgium are also a lot of Cycling fans ( Mure from Huy ) ,....when I see this races .....( p.e. Paris -Roubaix, Fleche Wallone,Gent Wevelgem ...)

Do you know southern France too ?
