The two pics of the foliage tell the story. If only others who describe plants would be so explicit. So many times we are told all the similarities between species but not told the one defining thing that distinguishes one from another, in otherwise similar plants. So thanks for these excellent pictures Fred.

I'm still happy in the mountains, even if no crocus around - it was a bit too early for Crocus ligusticus.
It was a biking and hiking holiday with Chris and it was great as always :-)
