Wild in the south of France, this is one of my favourite plant !
bright colour, lot of flowers, easy to grow, and easier to increase by seeds, the perfect garden plant, soil tolerant in full sun !

Fred,
Beautiful, isn't it!! Is that similar to Lilium tenuifolia / Lilium pumilum?

Each flower so beautifully spaced and red hot in the sunlight - I love the red stamens too

Fred, thank you for showing this floral gem. It is also my favourite lily,
easy to cultivate, very floriferous and good to raise from seed.

One of my favorite lillies because of the fabulous leaves. It grows in the local botanical garden, but I've never seen any seed on those plants. Does anyone know where I can get seeds of it?

Hi,
A really nice species indeed with lots of waxy flowers. I don't know it but have grown once lilium pumilum.Really fragrant. It is said that it's not the case of lilium pomponium .Flowers seem to be similar as are those of lilium chalcedonicum ( seen on photos ). Could you please Fred tell the differences on these 3 species' leaves? Do you have pics?
Regards
Jean-Patrick

Jean Patrick,
here are the leaves, quick and bad pics this morning
Lilium pomponium
( also fragrant but smells very different from L. pumilum )
You can see that this species has white margins, not present on the following sp.
