Erodium ID
« on: June 25, 2009, 08:20:22 PM »
Hello ! I received this Erodium sp thru the German GdS seed ex as E. chrysanthum, which clearly is wrong. It has got bigger by the year and is now flowering with nice large flowers. I enclose two pictures and hope that someone can help me identify it. I tend to lean to Erodium castellanum myself.

Paul,

Excellent feathery leaves, aren't they.  Beautiful.
Cheers.

I believe that Erodium castellanum looks like your plant. Had it many years ago, but no picture made then.

Paul, can you tell me something about E. Cedrorum?
I received my seed from a seedex in 2008 but haven't found much information about it except for the fact that it is from Turkey.
Mine didn't flower last year but it has been flowering for over a month and just seems to keep spreading outward.
