I had an endoscopy early this morning. Put me right off bananas for months to come. :-X

Hi Lesley

I can sympathise with you as I have gone through this on two occasions.
It is not very pleasant.

Eric
I'm still trying to find a connection between endoscopy and bananas, and then it hit me. They are the perfect shape. I am seeing Lesley in a new light! :P

I wonder why the server has not moved on to wintertime, does it not apply in Scotland?
I hadn't noticed until now, Tony. No idea why it hasn't changed.... have asked Fred!
Fred replies: The www is international, they have to change it in their profile.......... so  I've changed my clock, to show -1 hours from the forum default. I just clicked on an "auto-detect" button.....and you will see that the time showing for my edit, see below, is indeed the correct time, according to my other clocks!!

(Now I'll sneak off and change Tony's clock!"   ;))

My Forum posts always come up with the wrong time when we are on summer time but then I think they do when we are not, also. ???

For instance, this one has come up as 11.53 am whereas it is actually 12.53 pm (or, was, a couple of minutes ago. :)) I mean, 7 mins to 1 in the afternoon. I'm getting a bit confused here. What's new? ???

Lesley, your time was plus 11 so I changed it to plus 12, which should be the right time for you now, eh?

Well it seems now to be right on my screen Maggi, but as we are now in summer time and if you are in winter time, we are 13 hours ahead. :-\

Anthony, I don't think the camera on the end of the tube was banana-shaped, but the numbing spray which was squirted into the back of my throat tasted like rotten bananas. The clinician was a little too enthusiastic with its application and I gagged.

Well, I'm confused.... nothing new there then.
I have made another change ,to make you 13 hours ahead.... so, I'm writng this at 36 minutes past midnight... so you should be showing as nearly twenty to two in the afternoon, right?

It's showing here on your post as 2:18, not 3:18, Lesley.  So I'm assuming that means that we're 11 hours ahead of them now, as I think we're 2 hours behind you aren't we?  I think we vary between 10 and 12 hours with the UK, but now I'm not sure.  Or is it 9 and 11?   ???  All this coming and going through time.... I'm positively exhausted!!  :o ::)

At 12.11 here in the UK on Monday 26 October, it was:

Dunedin- 01.11 on Tuesday 27th.

Canberra-23.11 on Monday 26th.

Or does that complicate things further??

That sounds right David, provided you put in the a's and p's. At 12.11 mins past mid-day in the UK on the 26th, it was 23.11pm in Canberra and 1.11 am in NZ on the 27th. As I've said before, you'll never catch up with us. ;D

John I think it must be 12 and a half earlier (or later) in Newfoundland. :-\ I think we're about 18 ahead of Los Angeles.

When it's night-time in Italy, it's Wednesday over here, as the war-time song said.
