Why Roulade? That name would suit a double. Did you buy many from Margaret? What was for sale?

I thought the Pyramids pre-dated the New Testament. And my Concise English Dictionary defines "roulade" as "florid passge of runs etc in solo vocal music, usually su :-\ng to one syllable". Like a muezzin calling the faithful to prayer. Maybe Antony Darby could help here.

Plenty of vocal roulades in Handel and Bach, such as the amen runs in Handel's coronation anthem 'Zadok the Priest' (which only superficially resembles that abomination used for the Uefa Champions League).

Well, there were plenty of Tallis' Lamentations at Margaret Owen's when Roulade ran out.

The price list had Wonston Double at £40. I hesitated but plumped for the soup.
