After such a prolonged blanket of snow, with more forecast for us tomorrow, I think my early opening will be graced with drifts of yellow snowdrops !( and yellow  grass of course )

Has anyone had details of the galanthus gala yet ? I want to organise my accommodation but haven't had my ticket confirmed or turned down ???

All the places for the Galanthus Gala were sold very very quickly, in less than a week I believe.  I don't think the tickets etc have been sent out yet.   An email to info@monksilvernursery.co.uk might elicit the information you need.
Almost in Scotland.

I just scraped in to the Gala by the skin of my teeth, so I'm probably last on the list for tickets.

EDIT: Ticket arrived 12th January

Blacksmith's Cottage Nursery http://www.blackcottnursery.co.uk are holding a snowdrop day with snowdrop fair on 31st January.  They are located in deepest Norfolk.  I have no idea what the event will be like.
Almost in Scotland.

Diane,

You're a gardener, you're going to a gala, do you REALLY think you're not going to buy more?  I know that any resolve I would have of the sort would go by the wayside as soon as I got there and saw new precious things for sale.

Maybe it is a good thing we don't have them over here.  ;D ;D  I'm already poor enough as it is.  ::)
Cheers.

Tickets would be quite limited I think as "The Potting Shed" is a small venue...unless there is a marquee!  We have had several NCCPG Plant Heritage events there and a couple of dozen round tables has crowded it out - although of course there won't be tables taking up room.  Darkest Norfolk indeed, a very long country lane so hopefully the snow will be over!

But I'm not going to the gala, because as soon as I got the letter, it was sold out, there wasn't any chance to book.
