We were at Branklyn last week and saw the crevice rocks waiting to be positioned. The garden was showing well - it has to be the best two acres in Scotland. Jim and Petra also on grand form.
Great trip rounded off by splendid cakes and tea on the lawn - oh, so very civilised.
If you're in the area do visit and from further afield, it's well worth the trip. Looking forward already to a return visit to view the crevice garden.

Yemen, what a country ... Haraz mountains, Socotra, Sana'a, Hadramaut, the empty quarter.... a country of stunning, mind altering beauty...and the friendliest of people.

As Jim Jermyn, now retired from Branklyn, keeps up his gardening skills by volunteering at RBGE,
Kate White, new Head Gardener, on the right and Fiona Williams, Visitor Services Manager, on the left, get ready for Branklyn Garden to re-open on 1st April.

Was cheered to see this image posted elsewhere by the Branklyn Garden team - surely the tea tastes better with these .....
