Muscari
« on: April 14, 2007, 09:54:57 PM »
I have just acquired some Muscari sp. plants but they went over before I could photograph the flowers. The one unusual factor is they have no leaves! Not sure if this is because the leaves have died down or what? The flowers were the usual dark blue but I should have enquired further? I have three seed heads and the bulbs had rice attached, which I have removed and potted separately, so next season is going to be interesting.

Muscari with no leaves - sounds like an improvement to me.   A bit like colchicum, nice flowers followed by untidy leaves, yep, I could go for that :D

Now if this was April 1st ......
