That works fine. The reason I could no see the links and shows attended before was the fact I have more toolbars at the top of the screen like google toolbar and windows live toolbar which take up more space.

A story from the real life about sending money in an ordinary letter. Today i received  letter from England. It had been delivered to a wrong address a couple of days ago. The perso who received it apparently didn't know where he or she lived or knew their own name and had opened the letter, cutting it up on two sides. After opening the letter they realised the mistake, wrote a note on the letter to the post to redeliver it on the correct address and returned to the the post(office?). Naturally, they didn't tape the letter. It came through the door with the rest of the mail. The notes was half out of the envelop, but they were still there, all of them. There are still honest people around.

Good to hear that, Lars, isn't it?
My late Father was a terrible man for opening letters then discovering they had been wrongly delivered....
:-X I often had to tape them up and write apologies. :-[

That"s a relief, all seemed to be gloom and doom.  ;)

I found an unopened paypacked stuffed with cash a few years ago( when you used to get payed with cash) and when I brought it to the local police station still unopened, the policeman at the desk seemed quite shocked that I actually handed it in .

Hopefully honesty is still living in this weird world ... not everywhere but it's all around us ! I have never opened a mail without getting authorized (even my parents' )
Last friday a friend of mine found a purse in the bus, he opened it of course .... so as to know who was the owner ... and he tried to call her (he let a message presenting himself and noticing he will visit her to give her purse back and so she wouldn't have to block her credit card) What an exemple  8) 23 y-o and honest .... the youth is not that bad finally  :P

I am not sure I will pay this way again but ..... I received a package from England this morning  ;D Strangely I did not get any confirmation from the post office to tell me the mail arrived well in the UK .... Nevermind I'm very happy this morning  8)
I'll open it on friday evening ... as I'm not living at my parents' home anymore  ;) (I don't have garden or balcony here)
Next time I will ask Maren to help me with the order .... and order some plants from hers too  :)
Anyway I spent enough money for this season  :-X (not only into buying Pleione ....  ::))

Max, if you had autumn or winter flowering ones in your order, I'd suggest you to not wait till friday to open the box... Some of mine were already almost in bloom in the package when it arrived on monday (7 days of travel...) ;)

Max, I agree with Julien. Open the package now. It is not fair to any seller to have the item forseveral days before opening. If there is any problem in the package, how can you complain when you have had the chance to open and remedy any bad conditions for several days? That would be most un fiar to the seller, when the fault could be the time the package spent with you, unopened!! :P

I can ask my parents to open and look inside .... but they won't be able to tell me if everything is fine, I am not going to pay the train just for a package, I will wait 1 day for my mother to pick me up where i'm living (I don't need a car here)

Fri the 4th : back home, eveything's ok, 3 bulbs 4 buds (but they will shrivel for sure)

Hi Aldo,

Welcome to the world of Pleione obsession. Just a warning but Ian will hold over any orders received now until autumn 2010.
I guess you could go and visit Yaffles in Buckinghamshire, I never have, but I am sure Maren could paint a picture of the nursery that would make us cry! Forumists in the SRGC and the Terrestral Orchid Forum have swap lists / sale lists you could look at.

This is the link to the index page of the Terrestrial Orchid Forum
