Calling New Gardeners!
Are you a new gardener who would like the chance to have your gardening question answered, live on the radio?

Beechgrove Potting Shed, BBC Radio Scotland’s gardening phone-in programme, is looking for callers who would like their gardening problems solved by a panel of experts.

The long-running BBC programme, which features all sorts of gardeners to tackle the queries put by listeners, such as the SRGC's very own Ian Young, David Mitchell from the Royal Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh, orchid specialist and Head Gardener at Scone Palace, Peter Timoney, Donald McBean from Moray and the TV team of Carole Baxter and Jim McColl.......with a line-up like that, how could you resist giving the Beechgrove Potting Shed's eager phone team ( that would be me, by the way!) a phone call some Sunday?  :)

The show transmits Sundays between 12.05pm and 1pm on BBC Radio Scotland, 92-95 FM, and you can call free during that time on 0500 92 95 00 to give us your question. The studio producer will call you back to ask your question  live on air.... it doesn't cost you a penny.

Or send us an email at beechgrovepottingshed@bbc.co.uk  - please give your location and phone number in the email, so we have a chance to call you to get you live on air to ask your questions.

Liven up your Sunday lunchtime......quiz the BBC garden gang in the Beechgrove Potting Shed! :D

Sadly, Mark, if the football programme is on medium wave at the same time as the Potting Shed, then the digital/Sky service only carries the medium wave output, so gardeners are disenfranchised..... and at this time of year the football programme is pretty much a fixture.  :P
