Cyclamen in the Pelopponese
« on: November 22, 2009, 12:22:32 PM »
I was very lucky to be in the Pelopponese with Melvyn Jope, Peter Moore and Roy Skidmore for 8 days a fortnight ago. I have a big interest in Cyclamen leaves and in particular Hederifolium and graecum. Here are some that we saw.

Pat Nicholls, Cyclamen and associated bulbs.

What a variation! It seems hederifolium is trying to surpass graecum!
Never saw a Cylamen with Galanthus flowers - nature's caprices?  ;)

Wonderful shapes and markings on the Cyclamen leaves, Pat, and I love the planting of Graecum in the rocky crevices - the leaves look wonderful in this setting. Looking forward to seeing more of your photos  :)

Stunning, Pat.  Particularly 2009_11140139.JPG with it's flower and those breathtaking leaves.  Never seen a graecum like that before!  :o :o  I'll have one of each for my collection please.  ;D ;D ;)  Thanks for sharing the pics.
Cheers.
