but Gentiana acaulis flowers at both seasons. My saxes generally behave nicely though, and wait for (very early) spring.
Wow, Kris, your close up photo of the Dionysia flower,( which I would estimate to be around 5 or 6 mm across ??) really shows the white "paste" eye.... so reminiscent of a primula auricula flower!
We are just so happy to have the extra flowers!
