Nice to see this one David, my Z.labufarose started out life as H.martinezii! ;)
I do like the darker shading towards the base of the petals! How long have you
been growing this species?
Hristo passed away, after a long illness, on 11th November 2018. His support of SRGC was  much appreciated.

Hi Chris, three bulbs from Rannveig Wallis in 2008. I had only one flower last year so I must be doing something right.

Today is a new Rhodophiala flower open :

Rhodophiala 'Oxblood Lily'

I have received this bulbs from a nice friend from USA before some years -this is the first time flowering  ;D

The flowers are a little bigger than my Rhod. bifida and also a little darker
