I have both of these rather rare, pale-colored cultivars of Eranthis hyemalis and they are both in flower at the moment. They are quite distinct; 'Moonlight' is a pale yellow, whereas 'Pauline' is somewhat the same color as Aurinia saxatilis 'Dudley Neville', sometimes described as "biscuit": a pale, washy, very slightly orange tinged color.
'Pauline' also seems to be a weaker plant than 'Moonlight', but I've had 'Moonlight' some years longer than 'Pauline' and the difference may simply be due to relative maturity of the plantings.
Of the two, 'Moonlight' seems to be the better garden plant so far.
